Texas State Supported Living Centers [SSLC]

State Supported Living Centers include 11 SSLCs, the El Paso State Center and the mental retardation campus-based component of the Rio Grande State Center.

According to DADS, the mission of the State Supported Living Centers is to provide residential services and supports that assist people who may benefit from 24-hour supervision and active treatment.

Based on the needs of the surrounding communities, portions of SSLCs may become resources that provide specialized or adjunctive services to fill the needs of their local areas.
