The State Schools of Texas are home to over 5,500 severely and profoundly mentally retarded people.  They are truly communities within themselves and provide a place for these individuals to live, work and play.  

Below are some photos of individuals that live on these campuses.  As parents, family and friends we are thankful for the many day-to-day activities that have made their lives more meaningful and allotted them freedoms that they may have not otherwise known.
